OUR HERITAGE

1910

Dr. Arthur “Lefty” Hudson Sr. was born in 1910 in Topeka, Kansas. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California. In 1934, he started the Hudson dental practice in Glendale, California. Dr. Hudson had five children, Dr. Skip being the oldest.

1965

Before Dr. Skip formally joined the practice in 1965, the Glendale native would come into the office after-hours to clean up, and make orthodontic retainers and appliances. Once completing his dental and orthodontic training at the University of Southern California, he joined Hudson Orthodontics to serve the area where he grew up.

2014

In 2014, Dr. Chandler joined Hudson Orthodontics. He grew up in the nearby city of La Canada, completed dental school at the University of Southern California, and completed his orthodontics residency at Loma Linda University. Similar to Dr. Hudson Sr. and Dr. Skip, serving his childhood community was always an aspiration.

Chandler G. Ho, DDS, MS

Dr. Chandler is a local native, born and raised in La Canada. Dentistry certainly runs in his family because his father and oldest brother are local dentists, and his mother was a dental hygienist. After graduating from La Canada High School, Dr. Chandler studied at the University of Southern California for his undergraduate studies and for his dental degree, and then went to Loma Linda University for his master’s in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He is a Board Certified Orthodontist and is committed to providing the highest quality of care for everyone.

Dr. Chandler loves his profession because it allows him to positively impact others every day. He served as the student director for USC’s Mobile Dental Clinic, an organization that provided dental care to underprivileged areas throughout Southern California. He was also a student director for a community dental clinic located in Los Angeles. As part of the JWCH Weingart Health Center, the dental clinic provides care to homeless and uninsured persons in and around Skid Row. Internationally, he participated in dental mission trips to El Salvador and Guatemala.

When he is not at the office, you can find him spending time with his wife and two daughters, watching/playing sports, or just spending time outdoors enjoying the California weather. He loves all of the LA sports teams, and cannot wait for the Dodgers, Lakers, and Trojans to get back on top.
